Bouygues Construction wins two contracts in Singapore

Bouygues Construction subsidiary Bouygues Bātiment International has won two major contracts in Singapore. Worth a combined total of more than 210 million euros, the contracts cover construction of a residential complex and a five-star hotel.

Awarded by a subsidiary of ChoiceHomes Investments Pte Ltd, the residential complex located in Toa Payoh will comprise three 39-storey towers with a total of 571 housing units. The three towers will be built on a podium and two basement levels. Worth more than 102 million euros, the works have commenced and will run for just over three years (38 months). At its peak, the project will employ a workforce of up to 450 people.

Awarded by City Developments Limited, the hotel contract (Hotel@Quayside) covers the design and construction of a 250-room, five-star hotel. The seven-storey hotel is part of the Quayside development which includes the Quayside Collection apartments and marina entrusted to Bouygues Bātiment International in November 2007. The hotel, located on Sentosa Island, will be close to the Quayside Condominium. The works, worth over 108 million euros, will take two-and-a-half years and involve 500 people at peak periods.
