FCC lands another contract in the UK

Through its UK subsidiary Focsa Services UK, Spanish builder FCC has been awarded a 7-year contract to collect municipal solid waste, recyclables and garden waste and to operate and maintain the recycling plant in the city of Chester. The contract is worth approximately 26.6 million euro.

FCC has been providing services in Chester since 1995 and this is the third time it has obtained a renewal of the contract by competitive tender. The city of Chester has a population of 119,000; FCC will manage over 50,000 of waste in the city each year.
