Iberdrola Renovables constructs its first wind farm in Hungary

Spanish renewable energy firm Iberdrola Renovables has started the construction of its first wind farm in Hungary, called Kisigmand, which has an installed power of 50 megawatts (MW) and is located in the province of Komarom-Esztergom.

The installation, which comprises 25 G90 wind turbines of 2 MW of nominal power made by Gamesa, will enable the company to progress in the development of wind farms in Hungary, an attractive market due to its high growth potential.
