New reduced depth in-ground, pedestrian-level light fixtures

New product introduction: SL-42 - reduced depth in-ground aimable pedestrian-level landscape lighting fixtures, with LED. Design: ALLSCAPE In-House Product Design Team. Manufacturer: ALLSCAPE, a Philips group brand. Product applications: commercial, institutional and upscale residential pedestrian-level landscape lighting specifications. Where requirements are for durable reduced depth installation in-ground luminaires that produce brilliant outdoor highlighting of landscape and building features, pathways, facades and walls. SL-42 models are suited for all weather, climate and pedestrian traffic conditions; offer LED and other energy-efficient lamping choices.

SL-42 is ideal for use in interior or exterior pedestrian areas to wall-wash buildings, highlight columns, entryways; illuminate ground- or building-mounted signs; light trees, bushes, monuments, statuary, natural or manmade features in landscaped grounds; and to accent pathways, walkways and driveways.

SL-42 is a new range of specification-grade inground, aimable precision lighting fixtures that are only 6 inches deep. They are offered in unobtrusive low-scale contemporary designs. With white or colored light, SL-42 provides superior resistance to corrosion, effects of UV radiation, climate and storms. Each model has superior structural durability and an exceptional warranty.

A wide range of light-source options may be specified; one- or three-watt LEDs, line-voltage incandescent, compact PL fluorescent, or metal halide. A choice of flat, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) walkover, linear and radial spread lenses are offered, all drive-over capable. Other options include convex rock guards, anti-glare directional shields, internal light-diffusing hex cell louvers, colored glass filters, grout masks, wall-wash lenses, porthole spot and flood optics, driveway markers, and a choice of cast bronze or stainless-steel lens frames.

The SL-42 fixture housing is constructed of rugged, impact-resistant, compression-molded RhinoLite composite material, structurally reinforced with glass fibers for a long, corrosion-free operating life. SL-42 enables landscapes to be illuminated without noticeably invading space or drawing attention away from the landscape and its lighting design. It is ETL and CETL listed for wet locations, direct burial and concrete pour, and meets IP67 requirements. A matte-black housing is standard. Custom colors are available for fixture options.
