Bilfinger Berger builds Australia’s largest hotel

The German construction firm Bilfinger Berger has received an order for the turnkey construction of Australia's largest hotel, to be built in Melbourne. The project, with a volume of €150 million, will expand the Crown Entertainment Complex by 660 rooms and suites. The 27-floor structure on the Yarra River will be open to international vacationers and conference participants from the middle of 2010. Bilfinger Berger has already built the Promenade Hotel, recently recognized as the best business hotel in Australia, on the grounds of the leisure, shopping and event complex.
