Marley introduces PRH Series plenum-rated heaters

SC-Marley Engineered Products introduces the PRH Series plenum-rated heaters under the Berko and QMark brands. The heaters are designed for concealed and plenum space applications, such as those found in high-rise buildings, lobbies and bathrooms and in between suspended ceilings in garage locations, as well as for use in pre-heating outside air. Engineered for maximum comfort, the PRH Series heaters offer a blower delay feature and multiple heat rise selections, with heating ratings from 3 to 15 kW. The maximum outlet air temperature is 200°F at a static pressure of 0.2 in. The heaters are also designed for quiet, uniform heating with steel-finned heating elements, acoustic fiberglass insulation and efficient, forward-curved centrifugal blower. Available voltages are 208, 240, 277 and 480.

Installation is simplified with the horizontal position design, pre-notched duct collars and approved zero clearance design. The units are ETL design certified to comply with UL1995 standard for HVAC equipment. Maintenance is also made easy with a single-point power connection, built-in disconnect switch and quick access to all serviceable components.

Standard small cabinet construction includes a 20 ga., powder-coated steel exterior measuring 24-in. long, 19-½-in. wide and 12-½-in. tall. The large cabinet dimensions are 35-3/8-in. long, 18-in. wide and 18-in. tall. Units include a PSC type 2 speed motor; an external 24V thermostat control (optional); a high-limit thermal safety cutout; a fan only option; and a five-year limited warranty on the heating element bank. Optional accessories are available, such as adjustable louvers, filter rack and grille.
