Spaciotempo covers tennis courts in Morsang-sur-Orge

Two polygonal sports buildings of 18m x 36m have just been installed by Spaciotempo in Morsang-sur-Orge. Fitted with a thermo roof, windowed bays and a single gable structure this truly opens up the tennis courts to all. Spaciotempo went to meet Marc Vincent, Director of sports development at the town hall of Morsang-sur-Orge and Christian Dumontier, the vice president of the tennis club.

Are you happy with the equipment that you have chosen?

CM: Very. They are better lit, more user friendly and our members can come and play with friends as the two courts are joined. The Spaciotempo courts also hold out the cold: the double skin lining insulates well and we gain a couple of degrees compared to outside and that is felt straight away. For example, when it's –4° on court 3 its 1 degree here. For that reason we carry out all our tennis lessons within these structures, its more comfortable for the instructors and the students.

The Thermo roof plays a significant role in comparison to a single layer set up and entails a significant critical factor for the comfort of the game.

The two main points for us is the double skin lining and the single gable structure which separates the two courts and allows us to gain a significant amount of space.

MV:The single gable structure is a great idea for movement and game play.

CM: The windowed bays also are amazing, the members are very happy. This allows them to see outside and the players on the open courts. An on the other hand the people that pass by outside can watch the players on the inside. This offers great convenience.
