Energy savings for home and business

Pass & Seymour/Legrand (P&S), a manufacturer of electrical wiring devices and home systems, announced a new line of Sensors and Timers to reduce lighting energy consumption in virtually any type of room.

P&S Sensors and Timers ensure that lights go out when they aren't needed, and there's a model for any commercial or residential application. From simple toggle-style to contemporary Decorator models, P&S Wall Box Sensors and Timers fit anywhere and come in a range of colors to match Switches and Receptacles. Unobtrusive and handsome Commercial Ceiling- and Wall-Mount Sensors are also available.

"Users can count on quality, durability and quick, easy installation with a wide selection of convenient features," said Mike Piraino, market development manager for P&S. "Many of the devices also meet Title 24 energy-saving standards."

Residential options include stylish Vacancy Sensors, Occupancy Sensors offering hands-free convenience, and a model designed for 3-way circuits. Commercial Ceiling- and Wall-Mount Sensors include passive infrared and ultrasonic versions, with adjustable time delay and up to 2,200 square feet of coverage on some models. Power Pack and Add-A-Relay accessories are also available. P&S Timers include digital versions with LED indication, preset push buttons and audible alarm or flash warnings before the lights go out. Toggle and mechanical versions include time settings that vary by model.
