HBG Construction awarded major new projects

HBG Construction Western, which has offices based in Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff, has been awarded three major new projects. These three projects collectively are worth over £80million.

HBG has been appointed to design and build the new Bristol Civil Justice Centre which will provide 8500m² of accommodation over six floors for Hanover Cube working with Scottish Widows. The contract is worth £23million the architects are Associated Architects and the quantity surveyors are Gleeds.

HBG will design and build a new health care village complex for Richmond Care Villages. This includes a nine storey care building together with coach houses, lodges, landscaping, car parking and associated works. The architects are PRC Group and the Quantity surveyor is Nisbet LLP. The project is valued at £33 million.

Newport - University of Wales, Newport - Newport City Centre Campus is a design and build project for a new arts campus facility for the University. This includes a new five storey university teaching facility including car parking and infrastructure works which is adjacent to the River Usk, plus associated works. The architects are BDP and the QS is Edmond Shipway. The contract is valued at around £26 million.
