Jacobs receives award from CMAA

Pasadena-based construction company Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it and the Port of Long Beach earned national recognition for excellence in construction management from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). The Ocean Boulevard/Terminal Island Freeway (OBTIF) Interchange project in Long Beach, Calif., was named winner of a Project Achievement Award in the category of infrastructure projects with a constructed value of less than $50 million. CMAA presented the awards during its National Conference & Trade Show held in Chicago on October 7-9. The awards are presented annually to projects and programs that reflect outstanding achievement in the professions of Construction and Program Management.
