| Amec awarded multi-million defence design contract UK construction giant Amec has been awarded a contract from the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE plc) worth up to £13.5 million for the detailed design of facilities at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston in Berkshire.
