Kareltsrtoi invests in Elematic FaMe Flex

Karelian construction company, Karelstroi in Petroskoj, just started a new precast concrete plant for manufacture of various precast products: façade elements, solid walls, lintels, balconies, and foundation blocks with Elematic technology. Building construction is booming in Russia, also in the Karelian area, and with precast it is possible to build fast with high quality. Karelstroi invested in 16 pcs (3.5 x 8 m) of Elematic tilting tables giving a 300 m2/day capacity of wall and other precast elements. Façade and wall elements vary in height, and both new and old methods for intakes and out-takes, e.g. lifting hooks are in use, so Karelstroi looked for a mold making method allowing flexibility.

"It is very important for us to be able to manufacture efficiently, both sandwich facades as well as solid walls, and other precast products with 80-450 mm thicknesses in any size and form. Tilting tables together with Elematic FaMeFlex System is the optimal, flexible choice for this", says Mr Andrei Kolomainen, factory Manager of Karelstroi and adds: "Elematic not only delivered the full system including over 400 magnets and hundreds of meters of side profile - but also training on how to use FaMe in different
situations." The FaMe Flex system consists of aluminum profiles and pre-installed magnets. Adding on Push-Button magnets also small openings are easy to make.

Making of elements, whose installation at building site is done by electrical welding is a crucial aspect when selecting the technology for Russian markets. Referring Mr Heikki Kangasniemi, Elematic's Sales Manager to North Western Russia: "Elematic is the right choice. Investing into FaMe
Flex means that no additional investments are needed when the intake/put-take methods and type of produced element changes now or in the future - a clear advantage in any transition stage." FaMeLite system, which also was delivered to Karelstroi, is especially suitable for serial production of precast components not higher than 250 mm.
