FCC borrows EUR 800 million, wins EUR 75 million contract

Spanish construction giant FCC announced that fifteen banks have syndicated an 800 million euro long-term loan to the company. The deal was lead-managed by Banco Santander, Société Générale and Royal Bank of Scotland; Banco Santander acted as agent bank and another 12 banks participated in the syndicate.

The deal structure is as follows: a loan of 280 million euro and a credit line amounting to 520 million euro, maturing in five years with the possibility of a 2-year extension.

FCC also announced that Bulgaria's Transport Ministry has awarded FCC Construcción a contract worth 75.1 million euro to build road and rail accesses to the Vidin-Calafat bridge over the River Danube.
