Final figures for Nuremberg packaging triplets announced

Extremely satisfied faces at the end of the exhibitions on 27 September with 33,975 visitors (2006: 33,056) and 1,319 exhibitors (2006: 1,325) at FachPack+PrintPack+LogIntern 2007. The exhibition trio increased its space to 48,400 m² (2006: 47,690 m²) and filled ten exhibition halls.

The efficient German packaging industry was traditionally powerfully represented with 1,068 companies, but 251 companies mainly from the neighbouring countries of Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium and the Czech Republic also provided a comprehensive range of products and services.

The German trade visitors came mainly from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A total of 16 % international visitors travelled to Nuremberg from countries like Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, France and Hungary. Industries like printing/paper processing, food/luxury goods, electrical equipment manufacture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, automotive components and plastic processing, plus packaging- and logistics-related services were strongly represented.

Pack&Move, the Exhibition for Integrated Logistics Solutions and Packaging Technology, invites visitors to the Basel exhibition centre from 18-21 November 2008, before the next FachPack+PrintPack+LogIntern take place again in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 29 September to 1 October 2009.
