Tetra Tech to support Secure Border Initiative in El Paso Sector

Tetra Tech, Inc. was awarded a $460 million multiple award task order contract (MATOC) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, to support the Department of Homeland Security/Customs and Border Protection (DHS/CBP) Tactical Infrastructure Program. Under this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, Tetra Tech will provide design-build, design-bid-build, and site-adapt services to support the Secure Border Initiative in the Southwestern Region, El Paso Sector.

The Secure Border Initiative includes infrastructure improvements and a comprehensive and systemic upgrading of the technology used in controlling the border. Tetra Tech may assess, design, engineer, test, and construct new physical border barrier solutions, as well as identify, integrate, and implement technology solutions to help secure the border between the United States and Mexico. Typical projects include, but are not limited to, engineering, design, and major maintenance/repair of reinforced fencing, vehicle and pedestrian barriers, gates, patrol roads, paving, bridges, towers, and other horizontal construction work.
