Turner secures two new projects in California

Hochtief's American subsidiary Turner Construction Company will extend two hospitals under contracts with a combined volume of approximately EUR 119 million (USD 162 million).

The two new contracts in the US comprise the extension of existing hospitals: At the West Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California, Turner will build an additional patient tower. The project, representing a volume of EUR 62 million (USD 85 million), is scheduled for completion in March 2010. On the premises of the healthcare center in Stockton, also in California, a new Women's and Children's Pavilion will be constructed. The contract is worth some EUR 57 million (USD 77 million). Project completion is scheduled for January 2010.
