| Fluor awarded Grupa LOTOS contract in Gdansk, Poland Engineering and construction giant Fluor Corporation announced that it was awarded a contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services to build utilities and off-sites for the Grupa LOTOS Comprehensive Technical Upgrade Program in Gdansk, Poland. The contract value for Fluor is more than EUR 200 million (US $275.3 million) and was booked during second quarter 2007. Grupa LOTOS is Poland's second-largest oil refiner and retailer. Initial project work has begun and construction is slated to begin in February 2008 with a February 2010 completion. The budget exceeds half million man-hours. Engineering and procurement services will be performed by Fluor offices in Gliwice and Haarlem, The Netherlands. From 1995-'98 Fluor Gliwice and Haarlem performed a similar job for Grupa LOTOS. The contract is under execution as part of the development strategy of Grupa Kapitalowa LOTOS S.A. which provides for the construction of utilities and off-sites under the Comprehensive Technical Upgrade Program.
