| Hatch methodologies presented at mining seminar Hatch's safety plans for EPCM mining projects were recently presented at the 11th International Mining Seminar on Safety in Peru. The theme of the presentation was that good health and safety performance requires going back to basics and reviewing the fundamentals of safety performance, namely strong leadership and Hatch's 10 "safety elements." The 10 elements include communications, training and close alignment between the project team and the owner's objectives and programs. The International Seminar is an important annual event in South America.
