Halcrow Yolles project receives 2007 Design Excellence Award

The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) has presented the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts with its 2007 Design Excellence Award. Halcrow Yolles provided full structural engineering services for the centre designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects.

This world class performance venue features, a 2,000 seat tiered horseshoe-shaped auditorium, 100 person orchestra pit, full stage served by a 33m fly tower, dramatic glass exterior wall and floating engineered glass staircase believed to be the longest span for a glass stair in the world.
