Ingersoll Rand releases new impact wrench

Ingersoll Rand introduced the W360-2, the ½" extended-anvil cordless Impactool. Developed for automotive and industrial professionals, the W360-2 features a 2" extended anvil for more convenient use. The extended anvil makes it easier for operators to get to otherwise hard-to-reach areas that are less accessible. Even with the additional anvil length, it is significantly lighter than competitive models, weighing less than 6.4 pounds while delivering a 360 foot-pounds of reverse torque. The W360-2 onboard battery electronics provide the ability to choose either lithium-ion or nickel-cadmium batteries for every tool and the IQV charger is compatible with all IQV batteries.

All IQV batteries offer best-in-class recharge life in addition to the patent-pending IQV Grip interface. The twist-to-lock design outperforms conventional batteries in durability and convenience by preventing normal wear and tear to mounts and clips and utilizing a universal interface, compatible with both nickel-cadmium and lithium-ion batteries.

The ½" Impactool utilizes metal-reinforced composite housings designed to withstand inadvertent drops and the effects of fluid and chemical spills typical in the harsh environments of manufacturing plants and automotive shops. Its all-metal hammer case also adds to tool durability by increasing drop-resistance and protecting internal mechanisms. The Impactool has a variable speed trigger and electrical brake ensuring maximum control for both fastening and loosening.
