PME Partnerships wins Gold Award for Health and Safety

PME Partnerships Ltd has won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards 2007. The Gold Award will be presented later this year at a special ceremony being organised by RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents).

PME Partnerships Ltd (Scotland) was previously known as Mowlem Technical Services, prior to Carillion's takeover of Mowlem in February 2006. The company has a number of blue chip clients including Aberdeen City Council, West Lothian Council and Glasgow Housing Association for whom it is currently carrying out major refurbishments including the renewal of bathrooms and kitchens.

The RoSPA awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place. Entering the awards scheme reinforces the message that good health and safety is good business and clearly demonstrates an organisation's commitment to the achievement of high levels of performance in this crucial area.
