| Applied Materials to install new photovoltaic system Applied Materials is to install an over 1.9 megawatt solar power system at its research campus in Sunnyvale, California. It is the largest solar power installation on an existing corporate facility in the United States and will be rolled out in three phases. Applied Materials will start installing panels later in 2007 that use a variety of state of the art solar technologies.
