DragonHead makes Beast more dynamic

Bandit Industries has introduced new way to improve its line of Beast Recyclers with the introduction of the new DragonHead grinding head option, which has been shown to increase productivity by nearly 30% in certain applications. Bandit Beast Recyclers are used in applications ranging from processing stumps, logs, brush, wet leaves, whole trees, landscape waste, pallets, railroad ties, telephone poles, housing demolition, sawmill, logging, chip mill and paper mill waste, plastic materials, including plastic car parts and European type refrigerators, lime cake, shingles and more.

The new DragonHead is suitable for those operations that deal primarily with construction waste, pallets, re-grinds, light green waste, limbs and branches. This head is not recommended for applications with large diameter logs.

This new head is available for Beast model's 3680 and 4680 and is suitable for grinding pallets and green waste. It is designed like a conventional grinding head, but incorporates some of the features of the Beast's unique cuttermill. The unique design of the DragonHead features a curved raker in front of the tooth holder. It has thirty hard-surfaced teeth, available in two styles: a grinding style tooth, whose edge has been impregnated with a Tungsten carbide weld for added durability, and a double-splitter tooth, allowing you to run bigger diameter materials through the mill. Both styles of teeth are double-edged, giving you two cutting surfaces to work with before being discarded.
