Hochtief manages properties owned by AMB Generali

Hochtief is to take over the management of 150 properties around Germany owned by AMB Generali Immobilien. The contract, which comes into effect immediately, is initially for a period of two years. Subsidiary Hochtief Facility Management will provide comprehensive operator services. This also includes property management, i.e. strategic development by means of made-to-measure utilization concepts, the letting of premises and commercial management. Previously, two other Group units, Hochtief Projektentwicklung and Hochtief Construction, had developed and built several of the properties concerned.

Two of the office properties in the AMB Generali portfolio, for instance - ConventParc in Hamburg and Constantin Höfe in Cologne - were planned and realized by Hochtief Projektentwicklung and built by Hochtief Construction.

By means of the intensive networking of existing competencies, Hochtief also taps new markets and addresses new clients. In Germany, integrated portfolio management - the combining of facility management with property management as in the case of AMB Generali - has a market volume of about EUR 3.5 billion. In particular financial service providers and investors are increasingly placing the management of their real estate portfolios in the hands of external specialists able to offer a seamless range of services.

AMB Generali Immobilien is the central service company for all property-related matters within the AMB Generali Group, the third-largest direct insurance company in Germany.
