HDR's Labode named one of most important blacks in technology

The editors of US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine have selected Bode Labode, a senior vice president and chief mechanical engineer based in HDR's Omaha office, as one of the Most Important Blacks in Technology for 2007. Honorees are chosen for their work making technology part of the global society, and during the year the list is publicized, are presented to young people as role models. The awards will be presented at the 21st annual Black Engineer of the Year Awards Conference, which takes place February 15-17 in Baltimore, Md. The conference recognizes the outstanding achievements of African-Americans in science, engineering and technology.
