ICA Fluor builds plants for Pemex

ICA Fluor, the industrial engineering and construction company, jointly owned by Fluor Corporation and Empresas ICA, announced the signing of a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and start-up support services for two modular cryogenic plants for Pemex Gas y Petroquimica Basica. Pemex Exploration and Production is a subsidiary of Pemex, Mexico's state-owned integrated oil and gas company. The total contract value is $276 million. The contract will be booked in fourth quarter 2006 and the value will be split evenly between Fluor and Empresas ICA. The consortium formed by ICA Fluor and Linde Process Plants Inc., will develop the project, which is scheduled to be completed in approximately 24 months.
