JM purchases property in Stockholm

JM has signed an agreement with AB Fortum Värme, an energy company jointly owned by the City of Stockholm, to purchase a property for building approximately 100 dwellings in the Dalénum area of Lidingö in Stockholm.

With this acquisition, JM now has access to approximately 340 building rights in the area. According to terms of the agreement, the property is being purchased for SEK 58.5 million and JM has development commitments to the Municipality of Lidingö. The first tenants are expected to move into the area in 2009.

The Dalénum area of Lidingö, where the AGA gas company used to have its production plants, has been planned for approximately 1,000 dwellings and even more workplaces. The new district will consist mainly of four to five storey buildings, where the magnificent waterfront location will be utilized as much as possible to allow tenants to see the water from their apartments.

JM is one of the leading developers of housing and residential areas in the Nordic region.
