Debonding Systems announces tool for PVC pipe repair

Debonding Systems introduced Come Unglued. The Come Unglued tool can remove broken PVC pipe from any undamaged PVC fitting quickly, economically, and safely. The Come Unglued tool will debond 0.50" up to 6.0" diameter PVC pipe from PVC fittings.

The tool is preset to debond all pipe wall thicknesses from class 100, schedule 20, 40, and 80 respectively. The Come Unglued tool uses a thermal process to break the bond of any PVC cement joint. Once the bond is thermally broken between the cemented pipe and fitting, the broken pipe can be extracted from the fitting. The fitting is undamaged and can then be reused, in place, within the piping system.

Using this technique, a buried 6.0" tee repair can be accomplished in less than 2 hours and with an access hole 1/3 the size of that needed for a traditional repair.
