British Land to develop second phase of Blythe Valley Park

British Land, owner of Blythe Valley Business Park, has been granted planning permission to develop a second phase on the 256 acre West Midlands site creating 800,000 sq ft of new high quality office space. This brings the total consented to 2 million sq ft. It is estimated that the landmark development, off junction 4 of the M42, could bring more than five thousand jobs to the Midlands having received the go-ahead from Solihull planners.

The award-winning business park already employs more than 3,000 people and combines 625,000 sq ft of high specification office space. The new £200 million phase in the business park's development will be surrounded by 14 hectares of country parkland. Businesses already based at Blyth Valley Business Park include Regus, UK Athletics, Virgin and British Gas.
