NACO and AS&P win a contract for projects on Frankfurt Airport

The Joint Venture between the Dutch airport consultancy and engineering firm NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants B.V. from The Hague and the German architectural firm Albert Speer & Partner GmbH from Frankfurt has won the European tender for functional planning of large-scale building projects on Frankfurt International Airport.

For the coming two years, NACO/AS&P will assist Fraport AG with the development of concepts for the redevelopment and extension of the terminal area.

Apart from securing the existing aircraft handling capacity, the advisory team will focus on the necessary modifications of the terminal buildings to accommodate the new large aircraft like the A380 and will advise on the implementation of the most recent EU-regulations with regard to safety and security.
