New compressed-air vacuum collects toxic and nuisance materials without electricity

Nilfisk-Advance America, a leading manufacturer of industrial vacuum cleaners, announces that its new, high-performance CFM A15 compressed-air vacuum safely collects toxic and nuisance materials – including ultra-fine powders, dust, and debris – without electricity. The compact CFM A15 vacuum is ideal for metalworking, automotive, woodworking, fabrication, and other manufacturing applications where electricity is either unsafe or unavailable.

Nilfisk-Advance America’s CFM A15 vacuum is designed to help plant managers decrease maintenance-related downtime. The vacuum’s main filter has a large surface area, which helps prevent premature filter clogging and the associated downtime. An external handle enables users to shake the main filter free of clogging dust without opening the vacuum. Additionally, the vacuum’s 6.6-gallon wheeled collection container is easy to remove, lift, carry, and empty for swift waste disposal.

The CFM A15 vacuum also helps protect product quality and worker safety by ensuring collected materials are retained within the vacuum. Its multi-stage filtration system features a large main filter; an optional paper-bag filter that captures 99.7% of dust, down to and including 3 microns; and an optional HEPA* exhaust filter that provides further protection by capturing 99.995% of all ultra-fine particles, down to and including 0.18 microns. The CFM A15 is small and extremely quiet, and is powered by a venturi system that features top-notch performance and low air consumption. It is available in stainless steel for high-purity applications.
